Metrus Group is pleased to announce that CEO Bill Schiemann was named SIOP Fellow at the 2010 SIOP meeting in Atlanta in April. SIOP (Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology) describes those who attain this honor as ". . . distinguished industrial and organizational psychologists who have made an unusual and outstanding contribution to the field." Bill was recognized for accomplishments which include an extensive body of published work, development of the People Equity model, and his service to the profession, including work with the SHRM Foundation — five years as a Board member, and in 2010, serving as Board Chair.
In reflecting on this recognition, Bill said: "I am honored to have been included as a SIOP Fellow with many of the most respected names in our field. It is a particular privilege to be so recognized at the 25th SIOP Conference— I attended the very first one, in Chicago, and have enjoyed being part of its evolution".
