Thanks to a grant from the State of Hawaii, SHRM-Hawaii is pleased to announce the Workplace Excellence Program will be launching its 2nd Annual People Equity Survey in March, 2008. The first survey, conducted in the summer of 2006, provided great baseline information regarding three key indicators - Alignment, Capabilities and Engagement - to the 40 companies that participated. This year’s survey will provide a view of the changes that have occurred, as well as an opportunity for additional companies to participate. The survey is open to all companies with 25 or more employees that are located in Hawaii. Companies that participated in 2006 are invited to take part at no cost; there will be a small fee for new companies to join.
Once again, we will survey up to 350 people via the internet (paper option available for additional fee). For organizations with over 350 employees, Metrus Group will work with you to randomly select 350 employees to participate. As an added benefit, this year we are also offering the option of having more detailed reports for up to ten divisions, managers, locations, etc.
As always, our goal is to provide a view of the critical factors that lead to employee retention and business performance. We will not issue a list of “winners” as we believe that all companies who participate will be winners in their ability to understand and improve the People Equity in their organization! Participants will receive their custom reports in April, 2008. Metrus Group will present an overview of the results May 2008, to which all participating companies will be invited.
